I have been very fortunate to purchase a very beautiful boy from the UK. "Dak," as he is affectionately known, is a beautiful white and red sable male with exquisite type, sound movement, and an outgoing temperament that typifies the breed standard. He is owned and shown by Roseann Fucillo of Cilloette Butterflies and is bred by and co-owned with Mrs. Carolyne Allward-Chebsey of Lorah's Papillons of the UK.
When he arrived as a young pup from the UK of not yet seven months, Dak had already qualified for Crufts at his first show. When arriving in America, Dak started his US career by winning his first point at his first weekend of shows.
Dak turned two in October of 2006, and had started his specials career with two TV appearances when he won the breed at two prestigious shows, The Mohegan Sun's AKC Challenge (Kenilworth KC), seen on cable TV, and Philadelphia KC, seen on NBC.
Dak was Winners Dog at Greater Delaware Valley Papillon Club's Specialty, and was RWD at the Delaware Valley Toy Dog Fanciers Association in West Windsor Township.
He finished his championship at Mid Susquehanna Valley KC in August of 2006 and is a multiple breed winner and group placer.
He is line bred on beautiful dogs, both English Champion Tussalud Tell Me a Story and his sire, English Champion Tussalud Story Teller. Dak's sire is Japanese Champion Taramu Amore's Parel At Tussalud and his dam is Lorah's Mary Poppins.
From Dak's first litter, Cilloette Secret Teller, won his puppy class at MAP's Sweeps and went on to place second in the regular puppy class, all at his very first show. We are looking forward to many more wins with Dak and his get.
